About Fat Cat Pottery

Fat Cat Pottery is a family-run business based in Mount Evelyn, Victoria. We are Jenni and Joe Cross, clay artists specialising in individually handcrafted and hand-glazed pottery.

What We Create

Our range includes a unique collection of pottery cats, along with many other handcrafted pieces:

• Farm animals
• Grubs, bugs and other miscellaneous animals
• Beautifully scented terracotta fragrance ball gift sets
• Highly glazed pot plant worms and toadstools

Our Handcrafted Process

Each creation is an original, shaped from a single piece of terracotta or white earthenware clay. The piece is under glazed, fired, reglazed with a wide variety of colourful ceramic glazes, and then fired again.

Natural Variations

Because every item is individually handcrafted and hand-glazed, no two pieces are exactly alike. There may be very minor differences between the item shown on the website and the item you receive. These variations are part of the nature of genuine handmade pottery and, in most cases, will be barely detectable. Even the position of a glazed item in the kiln can create a slight colour variation.
